Work Environment

This position is specifically designed for onsite engagement, where you will deliver care directly in the homes of your clients across West Los Angeles. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth physical therapy evaluations to assess patient needs, followed by the development of personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving specific rehabilitation goals.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities in homes while demonstrating proper techniques to patients and their families to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and efficiently communicate findings to other healthcare professionals involved in patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on the importance of proper exercises, pain management techniques, and lifestyle modifications that promote long-term recovery and prevent injuries.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide well-rounded treatment that addresses all aspects of a patient’s health.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices for infection control, ensuring the health and safety of both patients and staff.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all patient interactions in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid physical therapy license in the state of California.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
• Proficiency in utilizing physical therapy modalities and rehabilitation equipment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working directly with geriatric populations or individuals with chronic conditions.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and patient management.
• Additional certifications in specific therapeutic modalities, such as manual therapy or aquatics, are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The total compensation for this full-time position is competitive, ranging from $110,000 to $125,000 annually, depending on experience.
