Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and emotional well-being, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews.
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that are client-centered, addressing unique needs and therapeutic goals.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, making adjustments to care plans as needed based on clinical judgment and client feedback.
• Facilitate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring safety and appropriate resources are provided.
• Maintain accurate and secure client records, adhering to all legal and ethical standards related to confidentiality and mental health documentation.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals within an interdisciplinary team framework to deliver comprehensive client care.
• Stay informed about current developments in mental health practices and participate in ongoing professional training and supervision to enhance clinical competencies.
• Uphold ethical guidelines and standards of practice as established by relevant licensing boards and professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on providing therapeutic services to children and adolescents, assisting them in navigating mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. You will engage with families and caregivers, offering education and support that promotes healthy family dynamics and coping strategies, which is particularly important in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Current licensure to practice as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Arizona.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and a commitment to best practices in mental health.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an empathetic approach to client interactions.
• Ability to work independently while also integrating smoothly into a team environment.
• Knowledge of ethical practices and regulations governing the mental health field.
• Dedication to ongoing education and professional growth.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly in outpatient therapy settings. Experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with trauma-informed care practices are highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
