Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, emotional health, and specific needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address the unique goals and challenges of each client.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Regularly monitor client progress, assessing the effectiveness of treatment strategies and making necessary adjustments.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention support and guidance for clients experiencing emergency situations.
• Maintain well-organized, accurate, and confidential client records, adhering to all legal and ethical requirements.
• Engage in ongoing collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic care.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, research findings, and advancements in mental health treatment methodologies.
• Participate in regular professional supervision and training opportunities to refine clinical skills.
• Uphold ethical guidelines and professional standards as mandated by licensing boards and mental health organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will encompass a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide array of mental health disorders. The clients you support may be dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, or other psychological challenges that require skilled intervention. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
• Must possess current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) in California.
• Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic skills necessary for effective client evaluation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Empathy, compassion, and a genuine commitment to client welfare are essential traits.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience in a related mental health counseling position is required.

Compensation and Benefits
