Mental Health Counselor - Licensed Clinical Therapist (Remote/Outpatient)

Position Overview

PROMIS Neurodevelopmental is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our growing team in Pasadena, California. This full-time position will allow you to leverage your expertise in mental health counseling while working remotely in our outpatient office setting. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions tailored to the unique needs of clients, focusing on building therapeutic rapport and promoting client engagement.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to determine client diagnoses, treatment needs, and appropriate interventions, ensuring a thorough understanding of their mental health history.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the multidisciplinary team, regularly reviewing progress and adjusting strategies as necessary.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with all ethical standards and California state regulations, ensuring a record of care that supports effective treatment outcomes.
• Engage actively with case managers, psychiatrists, and other care providers to facilitate coordinated care and optimize client recovery.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through regular supervision, training sessions, and team meetings to stay updated on evidence-based practices and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• A current and valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license issued by the State of California, with registration from the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) required.
• A Master's degree in Counseling or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
• Strong clinical skills with excellent documentation and organizational capabilities.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred.
• Demonstrable experience working with underserved populations and clients facing a range of mental health conditions.
• Knowledge and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and trauma-informed care methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Full-time employees can expect a robust benefits package, including:
