Work Environment

The role is performed remotely, allowing you to work flexibly while still being a pivotal member of our team. Although predominantly remote, you will engage actively with colleagues and participate in team meetings, consultations, and professional development activities. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate and understand each patient's unique needs and concerns, tailoring personalized treatment plans accordingly.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective interventions to individuals, couples, and families.
• Lead psychoeducational and support groups aimed at fostering community engagement and addressing prevalent mental health issues.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and psychologists to deliver integrated and comprehensive patient care, ensuring all facets of a patient’s experience are considered.
• Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support during emergencies, effectively managing high-stress situations with empathy and expertise.
• Educate clients about various mental health disorders and their treatment options while guiding them towards available community resources to foster ongoing support.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of documentation.
• Engage in regular case reviews and multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to team discussions and utilizing insights to enhance patient care strategies.
• Stay informed about advancements and best practices in mental health therapy, incorporating new knowledge into your practice for continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population of clients facing various mental health challenges. Our patients range from adolescents to adults, each with unique backgrounds and experiences. Your role will involve providing culturally competent care aimed at addressing the specific needs and preferences of individuals seeking support.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist in California.
• In-depth knowledge of various mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Proven experience conducting detailed mental health assessments and crafting individualized treatment plans.
• Competence in delivering therapy to a wide array of populations, including various demographic and cultural groups.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating effective communication and empathy toward clients.
• Adherence to professional ethical standards and guidelines, showcasing sound judgment during client interactions.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications to manage patient information efficiently.
• A collaborative spirit, with a willingness to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient therapy setting is highly beneficial.
• Experience leading group therapy sessions or conducting psychoeducational workshops.
• Active engagement in continuing education and professional development activities.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
