Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide weekly supervision and guidance to practicum students working towards clinical licensure or completing their Master’s programs, ensuring they develop the skills necessary for effective psychotherapy.
• Deliver high-quality psychotherapy services, employing evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and needs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to create comprehensive treatment plans that reflect the multifaceted needs of clients.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, utilizing clinical assessments to track progress and modify therapeutic approaches.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate records and documentation in compliance with relevant ethical and legal standards to support client care and service evaluation.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed about current research, best practices, and advancements in therapy methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families, each with unique challenges and backgrounds. This role requires an understanding of various mental health conditions and cultural factors that influence therapy sessions. By building rapport and trust with clients, you help them navigate their healing journeys effectively.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• A valid state license, such as LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT, is required to practice as a mental health counselor.
• Current professional liability insurance to protect your practice.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, providing direct therapy services to clients.
• Prior experience supervising or mentoring practicum students or interns is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The offered salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 65,000 to USD 130,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
