Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients, developing personalized treatment plans that are aligned with their goals and challenges.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy, to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards while utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems efficiently.
• Collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure holistic treatment delivery and client success.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a member of our team, you will serve a wide variety of clients, focusing on those with limited access to mental health services. You will work with individuals facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State is mandatory.
• At least two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice is crucial.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
