Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments, making diagnoses where appropriate, and evaluate patients using tools like the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to create tailored care plans that consider cultural diversity and patient-specific needs.
• Monitor and document patient progress, employing evidence-based interventions and strategies to support ongoing mental health needs.
• Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of treatment records and clinical information, adhering to regulatory guidelines and departmental procedures.
• Collaborate with patients to develop comprehensive treatment plans that clarify needs, desired outcomes, and actionable steps forward.
• Coordinate referrals and cultivate strong relationships with other healthcare providers and support services to improve patient care.
• Educate and mentor trainees, including students and interns, fostering a learning environment that encourages professional growth.
