Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gain insights into each client's mental health and individual needs, employing tools such as standardized questionnaires and interviews.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with clients' unique goals, focusing on evidence-based practices and measurable outcomes.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions with adult clients, leveraging a variety of therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches to foster positive change.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a licensed mental health counselor with Viewpoint, you will primarily work with adult clients who have been pre-screened for readiness and stability. Our focus is on delivering quality care to individuals who may be facing stressors, anxiety, depression, and other mild to moderate mental health concerns. By allowing you to treat clients with lower acuity, we enable you to concentrate on building therapeutic rapport and facilitating meaningful change within their lives.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is mandatory.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for fostering a therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach in supporting clients during their mental health journeys is expected.

Compensation and Benefits

• Full-time counselors can expect an annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• Counselors who work full-time will also receive a monthly healthcare stipend to assist with medical expenses.
