Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to inform individualized therapy strategies for clients.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, focusing on mental health concerns.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to client needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, and psychodynamic approaches.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, participating actively in case discussions and treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, attending workshops and training to stay current with mental health research and methodologies.

You will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals facing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your expertise will help empower clients to navigate their personal struggles and improve their quality of life. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical counseling experience is mandatory, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in telehealth settings.
• A comprehensive understanding of legal and ethical standards pertinent to counseling practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate within a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in using EMR software and e-health technologies to manage client records and facilitate remote sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma recovery, or substance use disorders.
• Prior experience working in a telehealth environment or remote counseling is advantageous.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, dependent on experience and client caseload.
