Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to understand each client’s mental health status, family dynamics, and available support systems.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that highlight goals and interventions for patients facing emotional and psychological challenges related to a life-limiting illness.
• Providing individual, family, and group therapy integrated with evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-focused therapy, tailored to meet the needs of patients and their families.
• Facilitating crisis interventions, including risk assessments and safety plans, particularly in moments of acute need.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and records compliant with established ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborating closely with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure a holistic and coordinated care approach, addressing both mental and physical health needs.
• Leading group therapy sessions, psycho-education programs, and support groups aimed at enhancing coping skills and providing emotional relief to families and patients.
• Updating therapeutic techniques and participating in continuous professional development to deliver the best possible care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population primarily consists of individuals and their families grappling with the emotional and psychological implications of terminal illness. Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits
