Position Overview

The Forge Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that align with the diverse needs of your clients, incorporating individual and group therapy sessions.
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions aimed at addressing dependencies, promoting recovery, and fostering positive behavioral changes among clients.
• Establish realistic treatment objectives in adherence to ethical, legal, and professional standards, ensuring that each plan is client-centered and attainable.
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and timely records, including detailed progress notes that reflect the ongoing therapeutic relationship and client development.
• Conduct chart audits with the clinical director and collaborate on the approval process for individual and group notes to ensure compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse client population, including individuals facing challenges related to mental health and substance use disorders. This encompasses both those with single diagnoses and those experiencing dual diagnoses (co-occurring disorders). Your role will be to create a safe, empathetic environment where clients feel respected and encouraged to engage in their recovery processes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field is required.
• Possession of a current and active LCSW license in California is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience within social work, mental health, or substance use treatment settings is essential.
• Proven expertise in case management, combined with strong clinical knowledge concerning mental health concerns and therapies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by proficiency with computer systems and clinical documentation software.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a hospice care setting or related field is a plus.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and their practical application in therapeutic settings.
• Proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic record management systems.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
