Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in our detox center, your essential duties will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand each client's unique needs and challenges, allowing for the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), helping clients cultivate skills for coping and resilience.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation aligned with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that all client information is handled with the utmost professionalism.
• Collaborating seamlessly with our multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists and psychologists—to develop and refine comprehensive treatment strategies for clients.
• Participating in case consultations and peer review sessions that contribute to ongoing learning and enhance the quality of care provided.
• Providing education and advocacy for clients and their families, equipping them with the knowledge and resources necessary to navigate the complexities of mental health and recovery.
• Staying informed about the latest developments in the mental health landscape to continuously improve therapeutic practices and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with individuals undergoing detoxification and recovery from substance abuse, many of whom also face underlying mental health challenges. The role requires a deep understanding of the biopsychosocial factors that influence drug use and recovery. With compassion and expertise, you will guide clients through their healing process, empowering them to build healthier coping mechanisms and sustain long-term recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating a strong foundation in clinical practice.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California, reflecting your commitment to ethical and competent practice.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in mental health or substance use treatment, allowing you to adeptly support a diverse client base through complex challenges.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
