Key Responsibilities

As our LCSW, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and developing tailored treatment plans that adhere to established best practices and solution-based interventions.
• Administering various therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), customizing approaches to meet the needs and preferences of individuals and families.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other members of the treatment team to ensure well-rounded care for each patient.
• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance the quality of care through shared insights and strategies.
• Providing education to clients and families regarding mental health issues, treatment options available, and community resources that can assist with their recovery journey.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest research in mental health, integrating current knowledge into your clinical practice.
• Managing a full caseload while ensuring timely achievement of treatment goals in adherence to ethical standards as outlined by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients in a detox setting who are grappling with substance use and various mental health concerns. This role requires sensitivity and an understanding of the challenges faced by individuals on their journey toward recovery. We value the importance of building trust and rapport with clients, guiding them through personalized therapeutic support.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license to practice in Texas.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, focusing on psychotherapy.
• Proficient in evidence-based psychotherapy interventions and techniques, including CBT and DBT.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a detox or substance abuse treatment setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Knowledge of community resources available for patient care and support.

Compensation and Benefits
