Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Mind Bloom, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough virtual assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients entering the detox program.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that align with clients' recovery goals and address their specific mental health needs.
• Facilitating engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques tailored to enhance client outcomes.
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring an integrated approach to client care and maintaining a continuity of treatment.
• Documenting client interactions meticulously, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and maintaining accurate records in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Staying updated with the latest trends and research in mental health counseling, actively participating in training sessions and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals in varying stages of substance use recovery. Clients may range from those in early detoxification to individuals seeking ongoing support during their recovery journey. Your empathetic and informed approach will be instrumental in fostering a safe environment that encourages open dialogue and productive treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and fully active LCSW license in the state of California.
• A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in counseling, preferably with a focus on mental health and substance use.
• A strong understanding of various mental health issues, treatments, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your skills and dedication, Mind Bloom offers a competitive salary range between $78,000 and $115,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and caseload.
