Key Responsibilities

• Utilize your education and clinical training to conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, diagnosing patient needs and formulating individualized treatment plans.
• Engage collaboratively with clients to create tailored treatment plans that emphasize their specific goals and needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and problem-solving techniques.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, psychologists, and addiction specialists to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Monitor patient progress towards treatment objectives systematically, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
• Support psychotropic medication management by collaborating with medical providers, focusing on compliance and addressing any medication-related side effects.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LCSW at Inner Healthcare Clinic, you will work primarily with clients undergoing detoxification and seeking mental health support. Your role will involve empathizing with a diverse population, providing therapeutic interventions to individuals struggling with addiction, mental health issues, and other social challenges. You will play a crucial role in guiding them through recovery processes and helping them develop coping mechanisms essential for long-term success.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of New Jersey.
• A minimum of one year of experience working as an independently licensed clinician, demonstrating a solid understanding of various therapeutic modalities.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a detox or addiction treatment setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in digital health tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems for effective patient management.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies and the ability to adapt these to meet the unique needs of each client.

Compensation and Benefits
