Key Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, families, and groups, addressing a range of mental health challenges.
• Conduct thorough assessments and interviews to gather vital information regarding clients' social, environmental, and personal backgrounds.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of clients, ensuring evaluation and adjustment of strategies as necessary.
• Coordinate therapy and support programs aimed at helping clients manage their emotional and social challenges.
• Facilitate crisis intervention sessions and make appropriate referrals to community resources.
• Establish a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients, promoting a safe space for open communication and healing.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, complying with all established protocols.
• Manage a caseload effectively and provide timely documentation of all clinical interactions and treatment progress.
• Offer individual clinical counseling focused on cognitive, behavioral, and emotional health, adjusting approaches based on client feedback.
• Complete any other duties assigned that support the overall mission of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• Minimum of four years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, specifically dealing with behavioral health challenges.

Preferred Experience

• Prior counseling experience specifically in treating mental health issues such as mood disorders, substance use disorders, family dynamics, and grief counseling.
• Knowledge of community resources available for referrals and ongoing support for clients.
• Experience in utilizing therapeutic modalities that engage clients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 85,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
