Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services to assigned clients experiencing major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders in both office and community settings.
• Conduct thorough assessments, and create and implement individualized care plans tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions aimed at fostering resilience, recovery, and coping strategies.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver focused treatment and recovery services, ensuring a high-quality patient experience.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, families, and external service providers, ensuring the continuity of care and the integration of services.
• Monitor and document client progress, ensuring compliance with treatment goals and discharge criteria.
• Participate in crisis intervention efforts and provide immediate support to clients in acute distress.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and team meetings, fostering an environment of collaboration and shared goals.
• Maintain ethical standards and professional behavior consistent with organizational policies and industry regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse client population, typically comprising individuals facing addiction challenges, severe emotional disturbances, and complex psychosocial issues. Your work will influence clients at various stages of their recovery journey, empowering them to take charge of their mental health and well-being.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Valid LCSW licensure in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health or addiction treatment setting.
• Strong understanding of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning specific to the populations served.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse client backgrounds.
• Demonstrated competency in crisis management and problem-solving in high-pressure situations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with underserved populations and within community health environments.
• Familiarity with integrated care models and multi-disciplinary collaboration.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities relevant to addiction and mental health.

Compensation and Benefits
