Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team at the Mental Counseling and Life Skills Clinic. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, including psychosocial assessments, diagnostic discussions, and risk assessments to understand clients’ needs and concerns.
• Collaborate closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific objectives, cultural backgrounds, and individual preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as CBT, DBT, and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), to effectively support clients through individual, group, and family sessions.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for individuals experiencing acute distress, coordinating care with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure seamless treatment.
• Maintain thorough clinical documentation in compliance with clinic policies, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, to monitor patient progress and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health topics, equipping them with tools and resources needed to manage their conditions effectively.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and support.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness and adapt strategies as necessary to improve patient outcomes.
• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in the mental health field, integrating best practices into your clinical work.
• Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all interactions with clients and colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals affected by various mental health challenges in a detox setting, providing therapeutic support to those in recovery from substance use disorders and behavioral health issues. Our clients often face complex life circumstances, and your role will empower them to navigate these challenges through individualized care and support.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
• Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a capacity to build rapport with diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a detox or inpatient treatment setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and practices.
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing various therapeutic modalities to address a range of mental health conditions.

Compensation and Benefits
