Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapy strategies for clients.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring a client-centered approach.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy, adapting methods to meet individual client needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards while updating patient records consistently.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contributing insights and expertise to ensure a high standard of client care.
• Engage in professional development activities, including workshops and courses, to continually enhance your skills and stay updated on mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in New York State.
• At least two years of experience in clinical counseling, demonstrating competence in therapeutic practices.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
• Prior experience working in community health settings or with multidisciplinary care teams will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, with additional opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
