Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy strategies tailored to the specific needs of each client, conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments to inform treatment planning.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to diverse populations including individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care, participating actively in team meetings and case consultations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure transparency and continuity of care.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training, staying informed about emerging research and best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of New York.
• Minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating competency in providing therapy and support to clients.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
