Work Environment

Operating primarily in a remote setting, Right Path Counseling values flexibility and understands the demands placed on our clinicians. Our robust administrative support team facilitates credentialing, intake scheduling, and billing, allowing you to focus on providing high-quality care. With designated working hours from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, we strive to strike a balance that supports both our staff's well-being and our clients' therapeutic needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure comprehensive client care:

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing strong rapport and maintaining professional boundaries to foster trust and respect.
• Conduct regular sessions to assess client progress, stability, and upcoming appointments, while guiding discharge planning as appropriate.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are centered around each client’s unique goals and challenges.
• Document client interactions and progress in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with best practices in mental health documentation.
• Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate the needs of new clients.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis and actively engage in individual supervision for professional growth.
• Collaborate with a network of healthcare providers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to each client’s care.
• Embrace a continuous growth mindset, seeking feedback and engaging in self-reflection to improve therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves youth struggling with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Minimum two years of experience in mental health counseling, specifically in assessment and diagnosis.
• Proficient in utilizing technology for documentation and the management of client records; basic keyboarding skills are essential.

Preferred Experience

• A background in working with youth or young adults in a clinical setting.
• Experience handling cases related to substance abuse or psychiatric patients is a significant advantage.
• Prior involvement in group therapy facilitation or community outreach initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits
