Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the needs of your clients, utilizing evidence-based practices and methodologies.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and transitional therapy sessions, emphasizing growth and recovery in a supportive group setting.
• Implement suicide prevention strategies and crisis intervention techniques, ensuring the highest level of care for individuals in acute distress.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation that meets both organizational and state licensing requirements, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
• Regularly evaluate and adjust treatment approaches based on client progress and feedback, participating actively in multidisciplinary meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will engage with a diverse client population, which may include adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will have the opportunity to provide individualized support while fostering therapeutic relationships with clients who seek to improve their well-being and mental health.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in counseling or a related field is required, accompanied by an active LPCC license issued by the State of California.
• At least 2 years of relevant counseling experience in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrated ability to employ strong oral and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient settings or medical clinics.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques.
• Additional certification in crisis intervention or specialized therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
