Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address a variety of mental health concerns.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions for individuals facing similar challenges, creating an inclusive environment for sharing and support.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, goals, and circumstances, regularly assessing progress and modifying plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to client health.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and client progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Engage in ongoing supervision and training to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness and the services provided by our organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse population that includes adults, adolescents, and families grappling with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship conflicts. Qualifications

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred and may be required for certain therapeutic modalities.
• Proven ability to develop therapeutic rapport with clients from varying backgrounds and experiences.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience in counseling or mental health settings, with a significant focus on direct client interaction.
• Proficiency in telehealth platforms and technology, including the ability to troubleshoot common issues that may arise during virtual sessions.
• Experience in facilitating group therapy sessions, demonstrating leadership and group dynamics skills.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards pertinent to clinical practice.
