Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough diagnostic assessments to understand the mental health needs of clients effectively.
• Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique circumstances and needs of each patient.
• Providing regular individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing best practice interventions and therapeutic modalities.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Using your technological skills to navigate the EHR system for documenting sessions, tracking progress, and coordinating care.
• Regularly evaluating treatment strategies and making necessary adjustments to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
• Connecting clients to community resources and specialists when additional support is needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a broad spectrum of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. This may encompass diagnoses that range from anxiety and depression to more complex, chronic mental health conditions. Your approach will be sensitive and responsive to the cultural and emotional needs of each client, understanding the unique dynamics of their situations.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
• A valid and active license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC issued by the State of California is essential.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in providing mental health services, specifically with varying age groups.
• Strong commitment to maintaining professional licensure and continuous professional development.
• Superlative organizational skills with the ability to manage a varied caseload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective therapy and documentation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Bon Ridge Wellness offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 120,000 – 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
