Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Emotional Resilience Therapeutic Services, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health status and creating tailored treatment plans.
• Providing individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices and culturally responsive approaches.
• Monitoring client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed, and ensuring patients have the necessary tools to overcome their mental health issues.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and specialists, to provide holistic care.
• Documenting client interactions and treatment plans accurately in our EHR system to maintain compliance and facilitate communication among team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve include individuals dealing with a variety of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Our approach emphasizes personalized care that recognizes and respects the unique cultural backgrounds of each client, promoting effective engagement and positive therapy outcomes.

Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• A strong understanding of mental health disorders along with knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches and ethical guidelines in therapy.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences will be beneficial:

• Experience working with diverse populations and addressing a wide range of mental health issues.
• Proven crisis intervention skills and the ability to effectively manage challenging situations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and proficiency with common computer applications relevant to mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits
