Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status and identify their therapeutic needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based strategies tailored to individual clients and their specific challenges.
• Provide ongoing individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients with coping strategies and tools for addressing their mental health concerns.
• Regularly monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, to coordinate care and optimize client treatment.
• Utilize telehealth technology effectively to engage clients and provide high-quality mental health services remotely.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, encompassing a wide range of ages and backgrounds. This includes individuals coping with common mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, and substance abuse difficulties, as well as those facing more complex mental health challenges. Your work will be critical in reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and enhancing the quality of care provided to underserved populations.

Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensing as LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
• Minimum of four years of related clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic treatments.
• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy with a focus on cultural competence and responsiveness.
• Proficient crisis intervention skills, demonstrating the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong capacity to build rapport with a wide variety of clients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with EHR systems for efficient case management and documentation.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and adaptations for providing virtual care to clients.
• Background working in diverse and multicultural environments.

Compensation and Benefits
