Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients through video conferencing, ensuring a safe and confidential environment.
• Guide clients in exploring and discussing their feelings, thoughts, and life experiences.
• Collaborate with clients to establish and track therapeutic goals, helping them on their path to recovery.
• Identify potential barriers to recovery and develop strategies to address these challenges effectively.
• Advise clients on healthy coping mechanisms and self-care strategies that promote emotional resilience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a remote Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with stable adult clients who engage with our platform voluntarily. These clients often prefer the convenience and anonymity of telehealth, allowing them to address their mental health needs without the stigma associated with in-person visits. Your expertise will support them in navigating various life challenges, from stress and anxiety to relationship issues and personal growth.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Must be fully licensed to practice independently, holding one of the following credentials: LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or a related license that allows independent clinical practice.
• No provisional licenses and no history of disciplinary actions will be considered.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster a supportive and trusting therapeutic alliance with clients.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic nature, crucial for effective counseling.
• Proficient in using technology, with the ability to navigate various online counseling tools and platforms efficiently.

Preferred Experience

Experience in telehealth is a plus, as is a background working with diverse populations. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, etc.) will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Candidates with a proven track record in creating successful treatment outcomes will excel in our telehealth environment.

Compensation and Benefits

• A competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
