Licensed Mental Health Counselor for Integrated Care (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW)

Position Overview

Serene Behavioral Health Group Inc is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) who is passionate about providing quality mental health care in an effective and compassionate manner. Work Environment

This role offers the advantage of a fully remote work setting, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your own space while maintaining a strong sense of community through our collaborative virtual team structure. The typical work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, creating a balanced schedule suited for both personal and professional commitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health and substance use status of clients, skillfully identifying co-occurring disorders.
• Collaborate with clients in the development of personalized treatment plans that creatively address their unique circumstances and foster recovery through evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in cultivating essential coping skills, emotional regulation techniques, and relapse prevention strategies.
• Work closely with our multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and nurses, to ensure that care is seamlessly integrated and addresses the whole patient.
• Implement substance use monitoring procedures and motivational interviewing techniques to inspire clients toward sustained recovery.
• Educate clients and their families on the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the significance of adherence to treatment protocols.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation of treatment interventions, progress notes, and referrals in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing training to enhance skills related to co-occurring disorder treatment.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California.
• Strong proficiency in evidence-based practices for the treatment of co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Demonstrated understanding of how mental health and substance use disorders influence one another and must be treated in conjunction.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration with diverse team members in a supportive and empowering environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient settings, particularly in integrated care models that emphasize collaboration across disciplines.
• Familiarity with using electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth technology to maintain client interactions and documentation.
• A track record of engaging effectively with clients who have complex needs or challenging backgrounds in a therapeutic setting.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Alongside this, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
