You will be working within our state-of-the-art outpatient facility that emphasizes a supportive and dynamic atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy: Facilitate engaging group sessions, creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to share experiences, forge connections, and learn from one another.
• Individual Therapy: Provide personalized counseling, helping clients address their concerns through empathetic listening, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and collaborative development of coping strategies.
• Treatment Planning: Work closely with clients to design individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances, ensuring that each plan is actionable and specific to their needs.
• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools and feedback methods to evaluate and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
• Collaboration: Engage with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and discuss complex cases, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30, addressing a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, and life transitions. The goal is to empower clients to overcome their challenges, rekindle their aspirations, and foster resilience that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field. A current LPCC license issued by the State of California is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

While all candidates meeting the educational and licensing requirements are encouraged to apply, prior experience in an outpatient mental health setting, working with young adults, and proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Albany Health Care Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
