Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices. This requires utilizing standardized tools and therapeutic frameworks to tailor interventions appropriately.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to address diverse mental health concerns. Your expertise will empower clients to develop coping strategies and resilience.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation that complies with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. This includes timely updates on treatment progress and safety plans, which are critical for effective case management.
• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other allied health professionals during regular case consultations, sharing insights and collaborating on client care strategies.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through peer review meetings, workshops, and training sessions to ensure high-quality care remains a core facet of your practice.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment alternatives, and available support resources, enabling them to make informed decisions about their care and recovery.

Your role will predominantly focus on individuals and families facing a range of mental health challenges. This includes but is not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. You will cater to a diverse clientele in Bakersfield, CA, with varying backgrounds, ages, and socio-economic statuses, ensuring culturally competent care tailored to each individual’s needs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution that underscores a strong foundation in clinical practice.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California, validating your capability to provide high-quality mental health services.
• At least three years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, equipping you to handle complex cases and implement effective interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

• We offer a competitive salary range of $52,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
