Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while working within a structured outpatient office setting. As a key member of our mental health team, you will collaborate with fellow mental health professionals including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatric staff to design and execute effective treatment plans. Regular virtual meetings and discussions will ensure that all team members remain aligned and engaged with ongoing client care processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' psychosocial needs and progress to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Regularly communicate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to report on patient progress, addressing any concerns and adjusting plans as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous records by documenting clinical notes and treatment updates in our electronic health record (EHR) system, adhering to departmental policies.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and facilitate engaging therapy sessions using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices.
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, equipping them with coping strategies and self-care techniques for improved management of their challenges.
• Uphold the highest level of confidentiality, adhering strictly to ethical guidelines and legal requirements to protect client privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily involves working with a diverse outpatient population, including adults navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other co-occurring disorders. As a working professional, you will engage with clients from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, ensuring that every individual receives care that respects their unique experiences and perspectives. Your sensitivity and empathy will play a crucial role in building trust and rapport with clients, facilitating their journey towards mental wellness.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• An active state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or equivalent is mandatory.
• A minimum of three years of experience in an outpatient setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of clinical practices and client management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure clear, effective interaction with clients and team members.
• A deep sense of empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity when working with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with specific diagnoses or populations (e.g., trauma, substance abuse, severe mental illness) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and tools, including crisis intervention methods.
• Proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
