Work Environment

This role is a remote position, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments and screenings to evaluate the mental health needs of clients, facilitating a deep understanding of their emotional and psychological states.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that are tailored to the unique goals, challenges, and preferences of each client, ensuring that they are fully engaged in their recovery process.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to address diverse mental health issues.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, participating in regular case consultations to enhance client care.
• Educate and support clients' families, ensuring they are informed and involved in the therapeutic process, which is crucial for sustained recovery.
• Maintain thorough and confidential case records in full compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring accurate documentation of client interactions and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health challenges. This diversity enriches your professional experience, as you will engage with clients from various backgrounds, fostering multicultural competency and understanding in mental healthcare.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role is necessary.
• Proven expertise in evidence-based therapeutic practices for treating various mental health disorders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and motivate clients throughout their therapeutic journey.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
