Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat to support clients in enhancing their mental health and overall well-being.
• Facilitate discussions that encourage clients to explore their emotions and life experiences, guiding them toward greater self-awareness and understanding of their relationships.
• Act as a client advocate, helping them to articulate their goals and navigate towards achieving them through tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize your clinical knowledge and experience to effectively evaluate clients' mental states, implementing solution-focused treatment strategies that are data-driven and client-centered.

Patient Population / Client Focus

All clients at Bright Mind Counseling, LLC are carefully screened to ensure they are stable adults with low acuity, allowing our counselors to focus on providing effective interventions without the complexities associated with severe mental health cases. Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology.
• A full, independent license to practice in California as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). We do not accept provisional licenses, nor can there be any disciplinary actions on your record.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively while fostering an empathetic connection with clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating genuine compassion and understanding towards clients' needs.
• Proficiency in using technology and online tools for counseling and administration purposes.

Preferred Experience

While specific experiences may vary, candidates will ideally have a proven track record in implementing therapeutic interventions and engaging with clients from diverse backgrounds. Familiarity with digital counseling platforms and an understanding of telehealth best practices will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits

Bright Mind Counseling offers a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 – 70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and hours worked. In addition to financial compensation, we provide:
