Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for new clients, identifying their unique needs and developing tailored treatment plans informed by best practices and individual goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to promote healing and growth.
• Lead psychoeducational and support groups that address common mental health concerns such as stress management, coping skills, and relationship issues, creating a supportive environment for shared experiences.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care for patients, particularly during multidisciplinary case reviews.
• Offer timely crisis intervention services to clients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring they have immediate access to necessary support and resources.
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions and available community resources, empowering them to make informed choices about their treatment.
• Maintain diligent and confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA and other legal standards, ensuring accuracy and security in patient records.
• Regularly participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated with the latest research and advancements in therapy.

Qualifications

• A required Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Washington is mandatory.
• A strong foundation in the understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on individual assessments.
• Experience delivering individual therapy and facilitating group therapy sessions, particularly with diverse populations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with peers effectively.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications to manage client information efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable, as this role relies heavily on virtual communication.
• Prior experience with crisis intervention techniques and handling emergency situations is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated involvement in community outreach and education programs, contributing to the wider understanding of mental health issues.

Compensation and Benefits
