Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing counselors to work comfortably from their homes or any location of their choice. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver ethical and compassionate mental health counseling through video chat, focusing on building rapport and trust with clients.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans that outline specific therapeutic goals.
• Facilitate the enhancement of clients' coping, problem-solving, and communication skills, enabling them to navigate daily challenges more effectively.
• Document session notes and client progress while maintaining compliance with relevant health regulations, ensuring proper patient records without extensive paperwork.
• Engage in regular collaboration with our multidisciplinary team to discuss cases and share insights, contributing to a cohesive care experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on serving stable, low-acuity adult clients who are seeking guidance in various aspects of their mental health. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree is required, though a Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is preferred for a comprehensive understanding of mental health principles.
• Possession of a current state license in one of the following: LMFT, LCPC, LCSW-C, or PsyD is essential to practice independently.
• Capacity to work without supervision with a clean disciplinary record.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology, ensuring effective delivery of virtual care.
• A reliable and stable Wi-Fi connection is required for uninterrupted access to our telehealth services.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a telehealth setting is advantageous, enabling you to efficiently manage remote counseling sessions.
• Experience working with a diverse client population is preferred, equipping you with the sensitivity needed to address various cultural backgrounds and mental health issues.
