Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Remote Opportunity

Brave Health Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R) for a full-time remote position. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of mental health status through individual consultations to determine client needs and devise tailored therapeutic interventions.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that encompass evidence-based methodologies, addressing the unique challenges faced by each client.
• Provide ongoing support through regular therapy sessions, equipping clients with practical tools and strategies to manage their mental health effectively.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure holistic care and referrals as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed of the latest evidence-based practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals facing challenges such as anxiety disorders, depression, grief and loss, trauma, and substance use. Your cultural competence and ability to adapt treatment approaches to meet the varied needs of your clients will be essential in promoting their mental and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure in New York as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.
• A minimum of four years' experience in a clinical setting, with a strong foundation in managing a variety of mental health disorders.
• Proficient understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and their application in practice.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills with the ability to navigate complex, high-pressure situations.
• Outstanding communication skills, with a track record of building rapport and establishing trust with diverse clients.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy, employing culturally responsive approaches.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully within a multidisciplinary team, contributing ideas and collaborating openly with colleagues.
• Previous involvement in community mental health programs or initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits
