Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health concerns, followed by the development of individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing proven therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques tailored to each client's needs.
• Work collaboratively with clients to establish therapeutic goals and monitor their progress consistently throughout the treatment process.
• Offer teletherapy options to ensure accessibility for all clients, particularly those facing challenges in attending in-person sessions.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to all ethical and regulatory standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and stay current with best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse client population includes individuals dealing with a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties. As a counselor, you will have the privilege of providing support to clients from various backgrounds, ensuring that each individual feels heard, validated, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

• A valid and active license in the state of Washington as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• A strong sense of empathy and compassion, alongside a non-judgmental attitude toward client experiences.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills to handle a diverse caseload and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with clients who have experienced trauma or are facing mental health challenges.
• Proficient in employing various therapeutic modalities and adapting them to meet the individual needs of clients.
• Familiarity with teletherapy technology and best practices for providing virtual mental health services.
