Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations that provide clarity on clients’ mental health issues, establishing a therapeutic relationship that fosters trust.
• Deliver evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions tailored to address a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management.
• Create personalized treatment plans that set achievable goals and outline interventions, ensuring each client’s preferences and needs are prioritized.
• Provide timely crisis intervention to clients experiencing severe emotional distress, utilizing de-escalation techniques and immediate support measures.
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, equipping them with coping strategies and connecting them to community resources to promote overall wellness.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Uphold ethical standards in therapy practice, maintaining client confidentiality and advocating for informed consent throughout all engagements.
• Demonstrate cultural competence by respecting and responding to the diverse backgrounds of clients, facilitating inclusive and personalized therapy experiences.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults, who may present with varying mental health challenges. Your role involves addressing issues such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma responses, and stress-related conditions within a supportive and empathetic framework.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of current state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• Demonstrated clinical competence through strong experience providing therapeutic services, with a focus on evidence-based practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, showcasing your ability to form strong connections with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in specific therapeutic approaches (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy) is an advantage.
