Work Environment

As a mental health counselor, you will utilize telehealth platforms to conduct sessions with patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients to determine their mental health status and identify specific areas of concern.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans grounded in evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Provide ongoing individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities conducive to remote settings.
• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, offering tools and strategies for overcoming challenges.

Qualifications

• Must hold a master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW is required.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a similar mental health counseling role.
• Deep understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment strategies.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and maintaining trust with clients.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology for seamless patient management.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
