Work Environment

In this remote role, you will be part of an outpatient team that prioritizes trauma-informed care. While remote work allows some autonomy, we encourage collaboration among team members through digital communication tools. Our team meets regularly for case consultations, professional development, and strategy sessions to ensure that every therapist has the resources they need to provide the highest quality of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and developmental needs, ensuring a holistic understanding of their mental health.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to each individual’s circumstances.
• Provide individual and group therapy using therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate therapeutic support groups that empower patients, fostering shared experiences and healing within a community context.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, integrated care, enabling patients to receive comprehensive support.
• Respond to crisis situations involving trauma, offering immediate intervention and support to patients experiencing acute distress.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, enhancing their understanding of mental health and available resources.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient progress and refine intervention strategies.
• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in trauma therapy, ensuring your practice aligns with contemporary evidence-based techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals seeking recovery from trauma-related disorders. You will work with a diverse group of patients, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping these individuals process their experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and promote their overall mental health and resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
• Proven understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed therapeutic approaches, demonstrating a commitment to learning and growth.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, non-judgmental attitude towards patients.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly under high-stress situations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing comprehensive patient care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, especially with trauma-focused therapies.
• Experience leading group therapy sessions and utilizing trauma-informed interventions effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, reflecting your experience and expertise in the field. In addition, we offer a full benefits package which includes:
