Life Works Psychiatric Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our remote outpatient team. This full-time position empowers therapists to provide high-quality mental health care, utilizing evidence-based practices to support patients in overcoming various challenges, ranging from anxiety and depression to more severe psychological disorders.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, offering our counselors the flexibility to work from home while making a significant impact in the lives of our patients. With a focus on work-life balance, our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for some scheduling flexibility to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for new patients to identify their specific emotional and psychological needs, and develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups aimed at promoting coping strategies and understanding mental health issues among peers.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive treatment approach for each patient.
• Offer crisis intervention services and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring safe handling of high-stress situations.
• Keep accurate, confidential, and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards required in mental health care.
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and enhance the overall treatment process, as well as engage in continuous professional development initiatives.
• Stay informed about the latest research trends in mental health therapy and incorporate new findings into clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele at Life Works consists of diverse individuals facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches applicable to a variety of populations.
• Exceptional ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop effective treatment plans tailored to diverse needs.
• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy to clients from various backgrounds.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust and rapport with patients.
• Solid clinical judgment and adherence to ethical practices and professional boundaries.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.
• A collaborative mindset for working within a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of direct experience providing mental health counseling, including both individual and group therapy.
• Experience in community health settings or outpatient mental health clinics.
• Familiarity with telehealth methodologies and remote therapy delivery methods.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
