Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) - Remote Opportunity

Work Environment

This is a full-time remote position, allowing for a flexible schedule that supports work-life balance. You will be a member of a dynamic outpatient office team, working collaboratively with colleagues to engage and support clients effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices to address client needs.
• Work with clients to design pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies, behavioral guidelines, and risk assessment documents.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation to ensure compliance with state and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement strategies for positive behavior support, ensuring each client receives coordinated care.
• Actively engage in internal quality assurance processes, participating in agency licensing and accreditation efforts.
• Serve as a liaison with pertinent service systems, providing resources and support to clients according to their unique situations.
• Develop and uphold relationships with state agencies and local organizations to foster program development and secure potential partnerships.
• Engage in professional development by attending relevant conferences and training, enhancing your knowledge and expertise in mental health counseling.
• Promote the agency’s mission and values through active participation in the community and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Carry out other related responsibilities as directed by the Clinic Director.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with may represent a diverse range of ages, backgrounds, and mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field or related area is required.
• Must possess a current independent LMHC license as recognized by the Oregon state licensing board.
• Proficient in maintaining clinical records and generating insightful reports that reflect client progress.
• Strong collaborative skills with a history of working effectively within interdisciplinary team settings.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Sound judgment and the capacity to make independent decisions aligned with professional best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in counseling individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges.
• Previous work in a crisis intervention role, equipped with the skills to address urgent client needs.
• Familiarity with community resources and services available for mental health support.

Compensation and Benefits
