Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and history.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific goals and challenges, making adjustments as needed.
• Provide individual, couples, and group therapy, applying various therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other methodologies suitable for diverse client populations.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team, which may include psychiatrists, nurses, and other mental health professionals, to deliver comprehensive care.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational policies.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical supervision to enhance your skills and knowledge in mental health counseling.

The clients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and present a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related disorders, and addiction issues. Qualifications

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York.

Compensation and Benefits
