Work Environment

As a remote position, your role will entail working from home while maintaining effective communication with our multidisciplinary treatment team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to comprehensively evaluate each patient’s trauma history and formulate tailored treatment strategies.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and the unique needs of each client.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective healing.
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at assisting patients in processing their trauma, developing coping strategies, and promoting emotional well-being.
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated treatment for all patients.
• Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate support for trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients feel safe and supported.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources, enhancing their support network.
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with applicable legal and ethical guidelines.
• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities that emphasize trauma-informed approaches.
• Stay informed of the latest research advancements and best practices in trauma therapy to continually improve therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, violence, and other distressing life events. The clinic serves a diverse population, valuing inclusivity and cultural sensitivity in treatment approaches. By providing tailored support, you will help patients understand their experiences and work towards reclaiming their lives.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a capacity for empathy and a non-judgmental demeanor, essential for building therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in trauma-focused therapy settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in delivering trauma-specific therapeutic interventions.
• Experience in crisis intervention and effective management of high-stress situations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology-based therapy tools.

Compensation and Benefits

For this role, we offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
