Work Environment

This position is structured to accommodate a full-time work week, generally from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with the flexibility to engage in occasional evening or weekend sessions as client needs arise. Working remotely allows our counselors to maintain a healthy work-life balance while remaining fully engaged with their clients through telehealth platforms and secure communication channels. Additionally, our outpatient office setting provides a supportive space for those who may prefer in-person interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to accurately determine clients' mental health needs and develop appropriate interventions.
• Creating, implementing, and regularly reviewing evidence-based treatment plans that align with client goals and best practices.
• Providing individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, utilizing a range of therapeutic interventions tailored to the specific mental health challenges presented by clients.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care that integrates various treatment approaches and addresses all aspects of the clients' well-being.
• Maintaining detailed and confidential records of client interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participating in ongoing clinical supervision, peer support groups, case conferences, and various professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a counselor at Stone Path Counseling, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and families, each facing unique emotional and psychological difficulties. Your role will focus on delivering compassionate care to individuals grappling with various mental health issues, such as trauma-related conditions, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and substance use challenges. Your expertise will be essential in empowering clients to overcome their situations and achieve meaningful life changes.

Qualifications

• A valid LMHC license issued in Washington State.
• A Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related discipline from an accredited program.
• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and group therapy within a mental health framework.
• Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques relevant to a range of mental health issues.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively document client progress and convey treatment plans.
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in working with populations affected by trauma, substance use disorders, and various mood disorders.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and platforms.
• Active engagement in community mental health initiatives or awareness programs.

Compensation and Benefits

This exciting role comes with a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, complemented by a potential sign-on bonus.
