Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) - Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed mental health professional to join our team as a Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) at Relationship Behavioral Health Services. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with Primary Care Providers (PCPs) and serve as a behavioral health consultant in a Colocated Collaborative Care (CCC) model. Your focus will be to provide brief, evidence-based interventions and educational services to support our Veteran patients and enhance their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and intake sessions to identify the mental health needs of patients.
• Formulating treatment plans in coordination with PCPs, integrating evidence-based practices specific to each patient's circumstances.
• Providing individual and group therapy, employing various counseling modalities to enhance patient engagement and treatment outcomes.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to address the comprehensive needs of patients, including those dealing with psychiatric conditions and substance use disorders.
• Documenting patient progress and outcomes in compliance with organizational protocols and relevant regulations.
• Utilizing telehealth platforms to deliver services effectively, ensuring accessibility for patients.
• Participating in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices and advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with veterans and patients seeking primary care services who may face a variety of mental health challenges. Your expertise will contribute to addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance abuse. By providing integrated care, you will directly impact your clients' ability to thrive in their mental health journeys.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Master’s Degree in mental health or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• Ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements in clinical settings.
• At least one year of relevant experience working with psychiatric and/or substance use populations.
• Proven experience in assessment and diagnosis, along with offering individual and group therapy.
• Familiarity with the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) for treatment planning.

Preferred Experience

While the following are not mandatory, they will enhance your candidacy:

• Experience in community health settings or integrated healthcare models.
• Extensive knowledge of multicultural counseling practices and sensitivity to diverse populations.
• Skills in the use of electronic health record systems for documentation and data management.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 60,000 to USD 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional development.
