Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to identify their mental health needs, utilizing diagnostic assessments to inform treatment planning.
• Provide tailored one-on-one counseling sessions to individuals struggling with a spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, and substance abuse disorders.
• Facilitate supportive group therapy sessions that may include psychoeducational workshops or peer support groups, encouraging shared experiences and collaborative healing.
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that set measurable objectives and specify therapeutic techniques to meet clients' particular circumstances.
• Respond effectively to clients in crisis by offering immediate support, conducting risk assessments, and developing safety plans or coordinating emergency interventions when needed.
• Engage in continuous professional development opportunities, maintaining an up-to-date understanding of mental health trends, best practices, and treatment modalities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care, ensuring that treatment plans are well-coordinated and responsive to client needs.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at St. Monica Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, and families confronting various mental health challenges. Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer an extensive benefits package, including:
