Work Environment

This is a fully remote position which allows you to work from the comfort of your home in Apopka, Florida, or anywhere across the state. By leveraging telehealth technology, you will conduct virtual counseling sessions via secure video platforms that facilitate both safety and seamless communication. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients using a secure video chat platform to enhance their emotional and psychological well-being.
• Engage clients in discussions about their thoughts, feelings, and personal experiences to foster insight into their issues and relationships.
• Advocate for clients by assisting them in identifying their mental health goals and developing personalized strategies to achieve them.
• Utilize your clinical skills to evaluate clients’ mental states and create comprehensive treatment plans employing a solution-based approach reflective of best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, addressing various mental health conditions ranging from stress management and relationship challenges to more severe disorders like bipolar disorder and PTSD. Your expertise will help clients navigate the complexities of their mental health in an environment that prioritizes growth, healing, and empowerment.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current and fully licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) by the State Board, allowing for independent practice. Note that provisional licenses or candidates with disciplinary actions are not eligible.
• Demonstrated strong clinical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor to foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Strong computer literacy skills to efficiently navigate telehealth platforms and documentation systems.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in clinical settings dealing with both adult and adolescent populations is advantageous. Familiarity with therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques, can enhance your effectiveness in this role. Additionally, any experience utilizing telehealth systems will be beneficial in adapting to our workflows.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked. Benefits include:
