Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments by meeting with patients virtually to determine their mental health status and treatment needs. Create individualized treatment plans that set achievable therapeutic goals and outline appropriate interventions. Facilitate regular therapy sessions, equipping clients with coping strategies and tools necessary to address their mental health challenges. Maintain meticulous documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure continuity of care and compliance with practice standards. Collaborate with other mental health professionals and healthcare providers, making necessary referrals for additional support, such as psychiatric evaluation or medication management. Patient Population / Client Focus The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse population of clients experiencing various mental health conditions, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and eating disorders. Your role will be pivotal in providing compassionate care that respects the individuality of each patient while also applying evidence-based practices to guide their recovery journey. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon. A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience working with diverse patient populations. Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities and strong understanding of mental health disorders. Preferred Experience Experience providing both individual and group therapy using culturally responsive approaches. Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and the ability to remain calm and effective in stressful situations. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms. A commitment to professional ethics and boundaries in therapeutic relationships. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
